Puthoff brings deep hospital operational expertise to HMP, having previously served as CEO at some of the Southeast's top hospitals and hospital systems.
Puthoff has more than 30 years of experience in the operations and management of hospitals and health systems across the region. He has held CEO-level roles at hospitals owned by such industry giants as Community Health Systems and HCA Healthcare. Most recently, Puthoff oversaw the ownership transition of the St. Vincent's medical system in Birmingham from Ascension to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
I've spent my career helping lead hospitals to success in
financial performance, quality, and regulatory compliance,
said Puthoff.

Puthoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration, both from the University of Central Florida. He is a past president of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce, past vice president of the Alabama Hospital Association's Birmingham Regional Council, and has served on the boards of the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council and Northwest Assistance Ministries in Houston.
