Tyler Brasher is an experienced healthcare analyst with a background in healthcare accounting and cash management. In his time with HMP, Tyler has been involved in a variety of projects including the administration of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy of a system of critical access hospitals headquartered in Mississippi, the administration of a court-appointed Receivership of 9 senior living facilities located across the states of Alabama and Georgia, and court-appointed Receiverships in Arizona and Virginia. He has also provided support for a number of litigation support projects. Tyler began his career as a Staff Accountant for a group of Skilled Nursing Facilities in Tennessee where he completed month-end accrual accounting, and gained experience preparing monthly financial reports and annual Medicaid and Medicare cost reports. While there he was promoted to Treasury and Accounts Payable Manager where he directly managed a team of accounts payable and cash management staff. In addition to his supervisory role, he held the responsibility of preparing and analyzing weekly cash flow reports, and developed a series of accounts payable metrics which were crucial to managing the processing of invoices and the outflow of cash. Additionally, Tyler has experience in corporate budgeting and forecasting, and completed a total overhaul of daily financial dashboard reports, which allowed viewers to analyze trends in cash, payables, and receivables at a glance. Tyler holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, having majored in Finance and minored in Accounting. He is currently pursuing the requirements for CPA licensure in the state of Tennessee.
