Tyler Brasher is an experienced healthcare analyst with a background in healthcare accounting and cash management. He is currently part of the HMP turnaround team of a large hospital company in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Tyler has assumed responsibility for much of the bankruptcy administration, as well as preparing the weekly cash forecast for the company which requires preparing budgets and reconciliations for over 10 entities. Tyler has nearly 5 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, having begun his career as a Staff Accountant for a group of Skilled Nursing Facilities in Tennessee. There, he completed month-end accrual accounting, and gained experience preparing monthly financial reports and annual Medicaid and Medicare cost reports. Tyler was promoted to Treasury and Accounts Payable Manager where he directly managed a team of accounts payable and cash management staff. In addition to his supervisory role, he held the responsibility of preparing and analyzing weekly cash flow reports, and developed a series of accounts payable metrics which were crucial to managing the processing of invoices and the outflow of cash. Additionally, Tyler has experience in corporate budgeting and forecasting, and completed a total overhaul of daily financial dashboard reports, which allowed viewers to analyze trends in cash, payables, and receivables at a glance. Tyler has a Bachelor’s of Science, Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, having majored in Finance and minored in Accounting.
