With more than 20 years of experience in various sectors of healthcare, Rob Parrish has become an industry leader in healthcare development. Based in Nashville, which has been called America’s healthcare hub by the Wall Street Journal, his primary focus has been in development with mergers and acquisitions including a concentration in syndication and joint venture work. He has experience in negotiation, sales, joint ventures, syndications, mergers and acquisitions, and marketing within the healthcare industry. Rob has extensive practice in development and acquisitions working with The Securities Group as a Healthcare Development Consultant. Previously he also served as the Senior Vice President in Development and Acquisitions for Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America (ASCOA) and the Vice President in Acquisitions and Development for Health Inventures. His efforts with ASCOA led to a joint venture partnership in select markets with Community Health Systems. In 2011, he served as the Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer for FED Co. Combining his development acumen with entrepreneurial instincts, Rob focused on the creation of freestanding emergency rooms. From 2005 to 2010, Rob was the Vice President of Acquisitions and Development at LifePoint Health challenging him to balance working with whole hospital joint ventures and ambulatory surgery centers, as well as covering 15 western states. He was also responsible for department marketing and implemented LifePoint’s first national advertising campaign. During his extensive 20 years in the healthcare industry Rob has surpassed dynamic milestones, including raising close to $100 million in equity in 50 joint ventures primarily in the surgery center and hospital sectors within LifePoint Hospitals, ASCOA and Surgery Partners (previously known as Symbion). He holds Series 7, 22 and 63 FINRA Securities licenses in his field. Prior to entering the healthcare field, Rob worked with Merrill Lynch and Equitable Securities in the investment and securities field. Rob is a Blue Key Honor Society graduate of Belmont University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is a native Nashvillian and a member of multiple professional networking societies within the area.
