Brook has served as a leader in various analytic capacities over the last decade. Brook’s background in economics, mathematics and quantitative analysis provides him a distinct advantage when solving reporting and analytical challenges. At HMP, he’s tasked with delivering analytics that inform key decision making processes within the healthcare industry. As part of that, he has played a lead role in the technical development of the groundbreaking Modern Healthcare Metrics platform. Previously, he has led a financial data warehouse initiatives for Retail Systems and Services at Amazon, and at Providence Health and Services the Pacific NW. While working in retail finance Brook helped standardized productivity tracking, and drive best-practice operational performance monitoring and management across several international teams. Prior to working in retail, Brook led multiple population health research projects, developed financial reporting software, and built revenue cycle forecasting tools as a Quant and Software Engineer at a large claims clearinghouse. Brook also helped enhance financial monitoring and asset tracking as a Senior Analyst helping manage the IT division at Providence. Brook holds a Bachelor’s both Mathematics and Economics, and graduate studies in Systems Science with emphasis on Game Theory and Artificial Intelligence from Portland State University.
